  • Ensuring success of overall market
  • Establishing, implementing and maintaining Physician, Hospital, Urgent Care and Ancillary strategy in partnership with internal Network Contracting Teams to facilitate provider education, engagement, participation and support of the CareMore model
  • Achieving assigned network performance goals
  • Establishing, implementing and maintaining community outreach and resource strategies that establish program acceptance, positive public relations and critical partnerships
  • Establishing, implementing and maintaining member retention strategies to ensure that enrollment growth and retention goals are met
  • Overseeing all operational activities and efficiency within the market
  • Working closely with market clinical leaders as they aim to exceed local clinical outcomes goals
  • Analyzing department budget requests and managing the local operating budget
  • Analyzing financial and operational data to uncover performance issues and leading the execution of improvement opportunities
  • Leading location business development and innovation efforts that grow our overall business in the market

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    1. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university; five to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree (MBA or MHA)preferred.
    2. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None required.
    3. Other Qualifications: 
    a. At least 5 years of experience in the field.
    b. Must demonstrate expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

    Position: Provider Relation Specialist
    Position Number: 109637
    Essential Responsibilities:
    • Create, educate, and maintain relationship with in network hospitals, DME providers, HHA, SNF, transportation vendor, lab, urgent care centers and others.
    • Create and maintain relationships with Amerigroup (AMG) provider relations staff and management
    • Identify and/or report any network gaps to AMG
    • Create and maintain relationship with front line staff and management
    • Educate staff on CareMore and the CareMore referral process
    • Created the referral process
    • Visit PCP offices as directed and needed
    • Created referral directory for clinical partners (anyone that needs it)update as needed
    • Schedule In Services from vendors for Extentisivist
    • Present to CareMore leadership and AMG
    • Support Credentialling at hospitals and SNFs
    • Helped create provider relations brochure
    • Attend/Present at fairs/events on behalf of CareMore
    • Identify/research /visit/ tour/ SNFs for future expansion
    • Identify and research any potential CareMore vendors

    Develops and maintains positive relations with physicians, providers and practice managers within a local provider delivery system. Researches and resolves operational issues. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Works with MBUs operational departments to address provider grievances and service issues. Provides explanations to providers regarding contract compliance, company procedures and policies, etc. Recruits, orients and provides high quality service to providers. Participates in the identification of sufficient number and location of providers to meet area needs. Develops and enhances training programs for providers. Conducts provider seminars and presentations on company networks, business operations, procedures and protocols. Functions as a high level technical resource to resolve or facilitate complex provider issues. Develops new provider programs and addresses major issues related to systems, customer service issues, new network implementation, etc. Instructs, trains, directs and checks the work of others. Requires a BA/BS degree; 3-5 years experience as Network Services Specialist or as a Trainer; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

    Position: Community Outreach Manager
    Position Number: 109632
    Position Summary: Develops, implements, & manages community outreach and retention strategies to achieve marketing and retention goals by focusing on patient engagement, education, outreach and orientation.

    Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
    • Engage members to mitigate disenrollment, resolve complex member issues, and assist in accessing correct care.
    • Create opportunities with events and presentations to reach and educate the community about CareMore's primary care medical services.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and churches and acts as resource for organizations interested in CareMore.
    • Establish and maintain relationships and execute growth and retention strategies with providers within assigned coverage area.
    • Conduct community based outreach to our assigned patients.
    • Measure and track results through score carding and identify root causes that will enable assigned retention targets to be met within assigned area.
    • Delivers presentations, attends meetings, and distributes educational materials to patients and non-patients.
    • Meet and present to county and community officials.
    • Support local patient Navigators in engaging and scheduling patients.
    Requires BA/BS degree in sociology, psychology, social work, public health, nursing or other related discipline, 5 years related experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Requires exceptional networking & negotiations skills, and strong public speaking/presentation skill, and previous consumer marketing and/or grassroots/community outreach experience. Bilingual preferred.
