Iowa MHA Program at 2017 ACHE Congress in Chicago
The University of Iowa MHA Program will be well represented at the 2017 ACHE Congress in Chicago, March 27-30. Along with a number of faculty and staff, 45 MHA students will attend. The highlight for Iowa alumni and students will be the Annual Reception, Tuesday, March 28, 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Crystal Ballroom of the Renaissance Blackstone Hotel, 636 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60605.
Four Iowa MHA students were chosen to serve as Program Assistants for the 2017 Congress, first year students Zach Brennan, Claire Fleming, and Zoe Ribar, and second year student Cory Stetson. Emma Ravenscroft, MHA/MBA ’16, will present her award winning paper for the Richard J. Stull Essay Competition, and David Olson, MA/MBA ’87, will be installed as Chair-Elect of the ACHE Board of Governors.
Iowa MHA students will visit with Sam Hazen, CEO of HCA, and Steve Corbeil, MA ‘84, Monday afternoon, and take a tour of Lurie Children’s Hospital with Jill Keats, MA ‘89, Tuesday morning.
In addition to attending the Annual Reception Tuesday evening, alumni participating in Congress are encouraged to stop by the Iowa booth (space #3) in the Exhibit Hall to visit with students, faculty and staff.
