We are looking for a professional that is analytical and understands the administrative and operational aspects of health policies related to Medicare, Medicaid, and Children’s Health Insurance Programs. Candidates should have a strong mathematical background as this position involves leading statistical analyses and interpretation of data and results from social science research and reports. Candidates should also have experience with predictive modeling. Additionally, candidates need to have in-depth knowledge of social science statistics and the ability to develop and provide expertise in statistical sampling.

Specifically you will:
• Interpret statutes to produce federal regulations, policy statements, and other program
guidance.
• Analyze large health care datasets collected as part of Medicare's value-based purchasing
programs for purposes of identifying trends and outliers and making program improvements.
• Conduct program-related studies and data analysis regarding quality of care, program oversight, and utilization of Program services by beneficiaries, or program payments for program policy analysis.


If you have experience designing or implementing health care value-based purchasing programs, researching, analyzing, and evaluating health care data, and leading technical presentations pertaining to health care issues then you might be the ideal candidate for this critical role at CMS.
